Kernel Panic on MacBook Pro i7, log says Little Snitch

Post by Becko » Tue Jun 29, 2010 7:58 am

Hello, this is my first post on Little Snitch forums, and sadly I'm having problems with my mac, I've had 3 Kernel Panics all with the same log information, the last one was on June 25 and although I don't know how to read the following kernel panic report I do recognize the "Little Snitch" software name... So I'm assuming it could be a kernel panic due software incompatibility maybe ?

I am also new at this Forum. I have the same Macbook Pro, the same kernel panics (about 4 till now) and the same crash report. Only difference is the version, I use 2.3. Now I have upgraded to 2.3.1 hoping the panics will be in the past.

Yes, that's the kernel panic that has been addressed in 2.3.1

The first one wasn't caused by Little Snitch at all.

Look at the "Kernel Extensions in backtrace" - it only contains com.apple kexts.

The "loaded kexts" list always shows ALL currently loaded extensions, so Little Snitch will of course appear on that list (as well as any other kext on your system) as long as it's installed.
