Post by Alfons G. » Fri Apr 20, 2007 9:47 am

Hello, i'm using little snitch since July 2006.

Hi there!
I am pretty dumb when it comes to the mac, but my 17" pro used to kernel panic all the time - it ended up being the airport card!

Just thought I would share, maybe you can at least rule that out....

Bluetooth headset?

Post by Guest » Thu May 17, 2007 7:16 pm

I notice you have the IOBluetoothSCOAudioDriver loaded. If you're using a wireless headset, this may have something to do with it. I had to stop using mine altogether.

Just as a test, I suggest trying without the bluetooth headset connected. If your problem is gone, you'll know.

Good luck.

In case "misery loves company", I get frequent (1/day) kernel panics on my Mac Pro 4-core. My system passes repeated Techtool Pro hardware and software tests. All crashes are during grphics-intensive operations:

Alfons G. Kernel Panic

Post by Joe Schmöe » Fri Aug 31, 2007 1:42 am

One thing I'd look seriously at is your vmware entries. Ever since installing VMWare Fusion on my MBP, I've seen kernel panics on shutdown. If I don't run Fusion, then no kp.
