More keyboard-friendly dialog box

Post by sbwoodside » Sun Nov 15, 2009 3:40 am

Currently in the little snitch dialog box there is no way to select "Deny" with the keyboard. Perhaps the keys "D" and "A" could be hooked up to Deny / Accept, or Cmd-D / Cmd-A.

Right now you can use the arrow keys to select the radio button and tab, but not the buttons.

Also, it would be nice if the dialog could be moved so that I can see what's underneath it in some cases this would be useful.

I'll second that.

You can already press Return to allow or 'alt' + Return to deny a connection. And beside the arrow keys there are also this additional shortcuts available.

"a" -> Any Connection
"s" -> same Port
"d" -> same Host
"f" -> same Host and Port

Keys "1" to "4" or arrow keys for selecting Once, Until Quit, Forever or Global

Holding the shift key select "Once"
Holding the alternate key select "Deny"

These shortcuts should be included in the preference pane.
