I think little snitch is a great small application.
but there's one thing that bugs me. Some of the applications that try to communicate outgoing are quite straight forward (for example ichat), but some other are not straight forward, for example:
ntpd
ocspd
lpd
nDNSResponder
dotmacfx
dotmacsynccclient
And regular users don't know what to do.
You could have a small dictionary with the most common ones (it would be impossible to have all) with a brief explanation and recommendation, to help us make decisions.
all the best

I think this is a great idea.
Objective Development, is there any chance of this happening? Maybe it is something that could be included in the paid version?
Re: Sugestion: Typical aplication/rule dictionary
Looks like a bunch of OS services, some of which I think may be defaulted to "allow."
BTW, the UI allows for one to add notes for each service allowed or not. Might be an idea to search out a dictionary of OS X services...

You have a very good idea. Surely you're information will be applied in my system. Thanks
