Sorry but I am a real computer illiterate:( My husband and I purchased Little Snitch to protect our business information.

So I am unclear of a couple of things.

1. The rules, it allows you to let you computer to reach out to the cyber world so to speak so couldn't people get your data that way?

2. Can I tell if we have been hacked into? And how can we find out?

Thanks in advance

Little Snitch. Little Snitch is a host-based application firewall for macOS. It can be used to monitor applications, preventing or permitting them to connect to attached networks through advanced rules. It is produced and maintained by the Austrian firm Objective Development Software GmbH.
