Up until upgrading to Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.1), Little Snitch has been running on my Mac Book Pro for a couple of years without any problems. I've been running Little Snitch 4.0.4
Since the upgrade however, it has inexplicably locked up three times in a week. After a forced rebooted, there is nothing in the syslogs to indicate what the problem might have been.
I have heard that apps using kernel extensions don't always play nicely in 10.13.x, so I've uninstalled Little Snitch and the lockups have stopped...
Apple is also introducing a "Secure Kernel Extension Loading" process in macOS High Sierra (https://developer.apple.com/library/con ... index.html) which I guess is going to have some consequences for Little Snitch.
Apple also announced mandatory User-opt-in MDM enrolment in a future 10.13.x update in Spring 2018 (probably 10.13.3 or .4). I would expect 10.14 may finish off the allowance of 3rd party kexts entirely.
I trust ObDev is currently addressing these issues, because I cannot afford to reinstall Little Snitch if its presence risks locking up my machine...
