How to allow all openvpn connections?

Hi, I use a vpn, and am getting lots of openvpn connection attempts that are auto denied, due to "this type of connection cannot be delayed."

1) How to allow all these connections? (Is the answer: allow all connections from "any server"?)

2) What are the downsides of doing whatever you suggest?

First of all, does openVPN work for you?
If not, you would have to allow the necessary connections within your Little Snitch Configuration. You can create a new rule via ⌘N, choose your openVPN process and allow all connections which are necessary to use openVPN.

If it already works, you can create deny rules for these incoming connections you are experiencing.

If you have any problems, you can contact our tech support team:

Hi, yes, openvpn does work if I allow all connections. I’d rather just pick the types of connections openvpn needs, and that’s where I am confused. I tried allowing all DNS connections only but still had these annoying LS pop ups that I have to approve individually.

I'd appreciate an answer to this too. Is it recommended that openVPN be given access to all incoming connections?
