High CPU time on Little Snitch Daemon

Post by sdugoten » Sat Feb 11, 2017 11:31 am

I think since the OS was upgrading to Sierra, I am having this problem. After a while of usage, the Little Snitch Daemon will take up quite a bit of CPU usage and it will not go back down. To make thing worse, whenever this happen, the mouse on the OSX screen will be choppy. I will have to manually kill the Little Snitch Daemon process.

I am already using the newest version Little Snitch 3.7.2 . Please help. This is getting really annoying.

Same is happening to me. I notice the use of the fan and when checked the Little Snitch Daemon was ~30% CPU all the time.

Any news on this?

I'm using Little Snitch version 4.2.2. I recently moved from a Mac mini Late 2012 on Mojave to the brand new Mac mini 2018 on Mojave. I've noticed that Little Snitch now sits between 40 and 60% CPU. Although this does not overly tax the 6Core Intel i7, I am curious as to the relatively high usage. Any direction you can give would be appreciated. Thank you.
