Re: Atmega8535 OK / Atmega328p FAIL

but how can you do that if they are on the same line? In avr studio I only get the 4 options. Boot Flash size=256 words start address=$3F00 Boot Flash size=512 words start address=$3E00 Boot Flash size=1024 words start address=$3C00 Boot Flash size=2048 words start address=$3800 Will I need to use a...

Re: Atmega8535 OK / Atmega328p FAIL

So I should chose $3800 in avr studio, yet still no luck? What else could I have missed? I did try the latest code.
My avr fuses I find the closest match are

0xFF extended
0xD8 High
0xDF low

Re: Atmega8535 OK / Atmega328p FAIL

he bootloader needs to be compiled such that it starts at 7800 instead of 3800 for the 168 Could some one explain how exactly you do that? I get options to pick from not a way to enter it manually? 2048 puts it at 3800? Is there a ways to define BOOTLOADER_ADDRESS avr studio to override the gui? I'...

Re: Packet Size > 8 bytes on Interrupt In Endpoint

I took the liberty in contacting Christian myself. He admits his busy lifestyle does not easily lend to free time, hence he finds it hard to comment on the forums. However this is his reply. Did you investigate whether any host side driver accepts bigger packets? I doubt it... I see more problems, t...

Re: Mega32 as Xb*X gamepad

Well as you pointed out The max packet size limits the maximum data to be transferred in one interrupt transfer request, to send reports greater than 8 it has to be splitted into packets of a maximum size of 8, this works perfectly at least for HID devices on Windows and V-USB XBox controllers with ...

Re: usbSetInterrupt3, does it work?

Re: usbSetInterrupt3, does it work?

I think this is wrong, as you got an additional output endpoint, so you got to add 7. Correct you are, I messed that up, but still no data. But you supplied the 20 as packet size? With maximum packet size I meant the value in the descriptor (both in device descriptor and endpoint definitions). Well...

Re: usbSetInterrupt3, does it work?

I took a stab at it, plan to do a bit more when I get a chance. So far I do not see any data coming out of sendDataUSB3. Just so that you see what I'm working with here is my config. Let me know if you spot anything wrong. uchar my_usbDescriptorConfiguration[] = { /* USB configuration descriptor */ ...

Re: Mega32 as Xb*X gamepad

Hi and thanks for discussing this matter, your conversation was of some help to me Sure thing that was the point and hope that other would join in. The reason it will not work is that we need to act as a usb 2,0 device. Fortunately we get recognized. The part I could not get working ( not giving up...

Re: help needed: Design works on Breadboard but not PCB

had the same issue myself, but its quite possible not your issue. A quick way to check is put a hub between the two. In other words, device->hub->computer. If this works then your problem lays on the z-diodes. I had to remove my SMD's and replace with thru holes. The problem in the end was that the ...

usbSetInterrupt3, does it work?

- One additional interrupt- or bulk-in endpoint. This was endpoint 3 in previous versions of this driver but can now be configured to any endpoint number. You must define USB_CFG_HAVE_INTRIN_ENDPOINT3 in order to activate this feature and call usbSetInterrupt3() to send interrupt/bulk data. The end...

Re: Mega32 as Xb*X gamepad

Ok I got! Just needed to put the project a side for a bit ;) Was so simple the entire time, just had to not use bulk transfers , that all!
