Re: Problem in HID report structure

I see, well its document out there in the waste lands... but the way I always did that was to send a unique report and then see what it effects. Obviously it have nothing to do with your struct but more so the data packet. For example here is a basic gamepad reportBuffer[1]=128;//X-Axis ( main stick...

Re: Arduino Pro Mini Game Controller

yeah, but you just flash it. Its a lot faster then trying to do all this on the Arduino board. They dont come with ps2 code, so you need to write it. Atmega chips by them selves can have a bootloader on it so you can program via usb if that is your issue. But an ISP programmer is a good buy if your ...

Arduinos ?

OH my, you dont have to get that involved here. Just grab a project. PS2USB is one that I used a few time. Will allow two controllers. This will cost you $5 total + a box to make.
I sell ready made ps2 adapters for $35, you dont need to buy an over bloated Arduino .

Re: Arduino Pro Mini Game Controller

I would not use blue tooth. If it were me I'd just wire up a ps2 to usb and be done with it. If that works you an move on to something more complicated.

Re: Arduino Pro Mini Game Controller

I dont understand this shape business. Though if your phone supports usb then consider this. 1) Xbox will not work. In order to use the xbox you need to make a hacked driver. Triing to decode a xbox is the same thing as decoding a usb protocol and that my friend is no easy task. 2) its more then lik...

Re: Arduino Pro Mini Game Controller

Arduino is a dev board that uses the atmega 168 chip. That project also supports that chip. That is the only similarity there is that I know of. What type of controller to you want to make? There are a lot of projects that use v-usb for game controllers. Here is the most complete one you will find. ...

Re: Disable Usb Interrupts

I'm not sure of a way to extend the wait between interrupters. From what I know there is a max time you can set the cli and sei apart and that time is what it is.

Re: PS2USB usb device not recognized

Ok after looking above it looks like you are using the ps2usb code on the project page, if so you shoudl see this // Up, Down - Y! Axis if (temp1 & 0x10){ reportBuffer[1]=0x00; } else if (temp1 & 0x40){ reportBuffer[1]=0xF0; } else { reportBuffer[1]=0x80; } First off you may need to debug th...

Re: check if device is ready to recieve

Well normal you wait for the host, then send 8 at a time. This is using a interrupt end point. while (!usbInterruptIsReady()){usbPoll(); } usbSetInterrupt((void *)&reportBuffer + 0, 8 ); //once ready send 8 bytes while (!usbInterruptIsReady()){usbPoll(); } usbSetInterrupt((void *)&reportBuff...

Re: very long string descriptor

Well v-usb originally had a bug that I fixed. See details here
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4042

Assuming that is now a permanent fix ( and I believe it is ) then your limit is quit large. For example I use the FFB descriptor. See here post #36
