Is there a way to download the driver while the site is down? I must have deleted the examples at some point.

atmega168 strange result.
I have been trying to get my avrusb software to work on my 168 for sometime now and I think I just noticed the problem but I'm lost to why? for reference my d- is portD pin 0 my d+ is portD pin 2 I was checking the voltage of my d- line to see if I get a different voltage with my atmega8 when I noti...

usb debugging?
I see a few comments about usb boot loader in regards to debugging. Could I some how use this to debug a simple atmega avrusb project? If so, could anyone point me in the direction of the info? Or are there any apps out there the give you info about usb devices and what data was sent? The current is...

Re: disable the UART transmitter on the 88
And if I could, what would turn on the debug, the watch dog? My code has wdt_enable and wdt_reset called in a few spots.

Re: HIDKeys, Unknown device?
Assuming you made certain to use the right diodes. what are your fuse bits. Are you using avr-studio? USB is very time critical, make use your crystal is the clock you need, ( i.e 1200 and not 12.1 ) In some cases it does not hurt to scope it and make sure your running at the freq you think you are.

disable the UART transmitter on the 88
I'm having a very difficult time assessing the UART transmitter functionality. It would stand to reason that using the atmega88 style chip could compromise pins pd0 and pd1. My project is sort of stuck using the pins for my usb communication. From what I have read there is a very good chance the UAR...

Re: swithcing from atmeg8 to atmega168
3.6 V 0.50W with same results. I was able to get the hid mouse example to work. So I now know its the code. but I really dont see what it could be. Here is my current hardware init. static void hardwareInit(void) { //PCICR &= !(1 << PCIE1); uchar i, j; // init port C as input with pullup DDRC = ...

Re: swithcing from atmeg8 to atmega168
Actually It was OCF2, and I think it may go from TIFR ( OCF2 ) to TIFR2 ( OCF2A ) as is seem like a better choice. Does any one know of an example project for the 88 or amega168 I can test with. I would need a usb device hello world or something like that. It has to be for an 88 style chip not the a...

Re: swithcing from atmeg8 to atmega168
Well I was able to test with a scope and an LED blinker that both chips are clocked the same.
also in my code I had to change
TCCR0 to TCCR0B
TCCR2 to TCCR2B
OCR20 to OCR0A
TIFR to TIFR0 ( OCF0 to OCF0A )
Anyone have a thought?

swithcing from atmeg8 to atmega168
Hi all, I'm very new to usb dev, so sorry in advance if this is a simple question. I have been on a project using Objective Development's firmware-only USB driver. The project started with an ATMEGA8 chip and I reached the max size. So I'm migrating to the ATMEGA168 chip. I believe a few changes nee...
