Re: HIDKeys with mega168
IIRC the electrical specs for the I/O pins are different between the 8 and 88. If you use Z-diodes on D+/D-, they HAVE to be 3V6/<= 500mW. If I take one of my atmega projects and put 1 watt's on there, it will not enumerate. However on the atmega8 it works just fine. The atmega 8 projects should run...

Re: HIDKeys with mega168
Yup, done many projects with 168's The biggest mistake is using the whole watt diodes.. You need to use the 1/2 watt with 168's

Re: Using the arduino as a USB stick(transfer files to/from pc)
well usb-v and arduino are not the same animal. you can look at this to see how to use usb-v with arduino viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3599 and look here for a data store option, http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/rawhid.html

Re: Mega32 as Xb*X gamepad
Wait are you saying you cant even get examples to work? If so scratch the entire xbox thing for now, and start from the examples. Get a normal HID joystick app working then try to complicateI put up a lil test-prog without the whole PS2 mouse and keyboard stuff but it won't work either.

Re: Mega32 as Xb*X gamepad
Do your self to favors. 1) get xbcdhttp://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html 2) get USBlyzer. Once the xbcd is installed it will show up as a xbox when you connect a real xbox or this avr. Tell me what you learn. I will look over your code later, when I have time.

Cant say for sure on that funky-nes.. but the diods will make for troubles.. On that note.. Do your self a favor.. Scratch Ralf's code, if you have not already, to reset the device. Un solder his bridge from pd0 to pd1, and control the pull up with usv-v.. Ralf's did not have the latest when he desi...

Re: Error: Constant Value Required
Well if you have 1w's in there that is a problem period. As far as the blinks go, it look good? Your fuse are correct.. Here is my blink code but I dont see why yours wont work. I use the ground for the light not +5.. #define LED_OFF() do { PORTD |= 0x20; } while(0) #define LED_ON() do { PORTD &...

Re: Error: Constant Value Required
I ported his code over to an 168 same as your chip for the most part, but not the P... That may be the issue.. I had some struggles but was able to make it work. Make sure you do not use 1 watt diods .. They will not work, use 1/2. This goes for all 88/168 chips. Well, I used the latest source files...

Re: ATmega168 BootloadHID - Device not recognized
Hey I use the boatloader with my 168. And I have also seen these errors. I can not offer you an answer for what they mean but I can tell you what I saw cause and fixed them. I get those errors when my usbconfig does not match the latest .0 files ( some inconsistency ). The fix for me was to either g...
