That's not easy if the voltage have spectrum over few MHz. And my current project sample at 2GHz!

Re: Isolation?

I had that isolator (commercialy made) It's works with a lot of stuf but doesn't like some devices. Some usb key's doesn't work, Some mices doesn't work and all V-USB stuff doesn't work. I was tryed some other series and pullups but without success. And I have VUSB thing in mind to isolate. And ther...

Isolation?

Hello... In the past I fryed USB port with incorrect cabling of USB oscilloscope. Now I'm thinking (datalogger project) how to isolate USB bus. The supply should be not problematic. some isolated DC/DC converters should do the job. But what about D+ and D-? I thinking to use some optocouplers. And a...

Re: Android and V-USB

I already found that.
And seems that host is possible. But the question is if it's android works with low speed.
About dedicated usb host controller. Normaly they are big. And to check just one voltage line the Attiny85 just works. (as slave, but if can work as host too that's great)

usbFunctionRead & IRQ

Hello...

I try to get quickest response on (user) interrupt's. So based on documentation there is little over 100us latency by driver.
But what if some data is calculated inside "usbFunctionRead"? Is that function called with Irq enabled or not?

Thanks

Re: Libusb or not?

It possible to send data with windows API HidD_SetFeature and to receive it with HidD_GetFeature. The only problem is that the the length is predefined in descriptor's. So If you have descriptor for 8 bytes then you must send 8 bytes. So I had two (or more) descriptors with different length's. For e...

Hello.... Just have question how to detect if device is disconnected?!? I had HID device and is acessed with windows HidD_GetFeature/HidD_SetFeature. (no dll's) The function return false if not sucedded. But that can be state if device working corectly too. For example. I wan't to read 64 bytes but ...

Re: Self programming flash

Just to answer to myself. The 5ms stall of processor is hughe if is done in wrong time. And to be even worse the there are two stall's in series. If that's stall is in usbFunctionSetup or usbFunctionWrite the connection is sometime lost(the windows report failure of device) But if bus is in idle (ie...

Re: Precise timming?

.. to describe idea in detail. I observe pulses with osciloscope. When no data transfer is in place the D- line get's Low pulse every milisecond. The D+ is all time low. When transfer is in place the both lines are toogling. So idea is like that. in main loop. Reset 'interupt' flag. wait until 'inte...

Precise timming?

Hello... I wan't to know if it's possible to make pulse of precise lengh't without to disturb USB interface. Best to explain with example. I had DS1820 thermometer and wan't to control it with VUSB. The timming is precise and longest pulse is 500uS logg (reset) and the data pulses are shorter than 1...

Hello... I have some kind of bootloader for AtTiny85 in mind and asking if someone have some experience with that.
