Re: Disabling emoji lookups

You can turn off all emoji in Launchbar in the Index. Right-click on the emoji category in the Sidebar of the Index, and choose disable. Or you can selectively turn emoji on/off in the Index if you want to keep access to some of them.

Re: Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 Bug

I just updated to macOS 10.12.4 yesterday (never installed the beta) and I don't see this behavior myself. LaunchBar is working fine for me.

Re: I just don’t get it!

Thanks - it helps to know where in the Index. Well, I said to turn off the two actions! You can also always search the entire index at once by selecting all the categories in the index sidebar (CMD-A) and then use the search function in the toolbar. In any event, what you are experiencing is not no...

Re: I just don’t get it!

I’ve never even used FaceTime.

If that's the case, why not just turn off the two Call with FaceTime actions in the LaunchBar index? Any actions that you don't plan on using can be turned off in the index preferences to increase performance.

It's one of the better bots, and it has 35 posts here since no one with OD appears to be monitoring reported spam posts in the forum. All which makes it look somewhat legit.

It's a spam bot, not a real user.

Re: Can't open Clipboard history by typing "cli"

The Clipboard History is one of the built-in actions in LaunchBar's Index, so I'd check to see that it hasn't been disabled there.

Re: Can't open Clipboard history by typing "cli"

You can manually assign an abbreviation-activate LaunchBar and type as much of 'clipboardhistory' as needed to make it appear in the list. Right click on its icon and select Assign Abbreviation... to set it to 'cli'.

Re: how to open the /Applications folder

If you have the Applications folder selected in LaunchBar, typing <return> should open the folder in the Finder.

Re: Can you assign shortcuts to open apps

No, you will need to first activate LaunchBar, then type your abbreviation assigned to the app. Also, I'm pretty certain that the abbreviation must consist of alphanumeric characters only, so while P can be assigned as an abbreviation, command-P cannot.

Re: Taskswitcher and directly maximize an minimized App

I hide apps instead of minimizing them, so one option would be to use cmd-H in Step 1 and when you switch back to the app it will become visible again.

Personally I wouldn't even use LaunchBar for this action-send the document using the share button in Preview's toolbar.

The LaunchBar menu is assessable via the gear icon on the right side of the search pane. Additionally, you can go straight to LaunchBar's preferences by typing cmd-, in the search pane.
