Re: Security Bug WEBYEP_EDIT=yes in URL

Hi ritasboss I don't think this is a security bug because you need more than the WEBYEP_EDIT=yes Its true this will unlock the lock but it wont unlock the actual webyep elements because you need a number after the yes element and that could be anything. Show disabled edit buttons is for editors that...

Re: Future of WebYep

Hi Markus I don't know quite how the rapid weaver plugin works but the php code snippets behind webyep can already be inserted into a responsive layout and you don't need to use inline styles it can all be external. As I mentioned I have no idea how the rapid weaver plugin works so I can't really co...

Re: Future of WebYep

HI I to have come across the character problem in the naming of webyep items and it was something that stopped webyep dead in its tracks. The only quick solution was to make sure names of webyep items didn't have the umlaut character. As for the development of webyep there should be no reason why th...

Re: WebYep site hacked (sort of…)

hi Eelco this has happened to me on two occasions in the last 6 years although both times the webyep system flagged up the error/warning message and none of the files were effected in anyway. The open folder is the weakest point but it would be virtually difficult to be 100% hack-proof. You may be a...

Re: slow loading WebYep pages

Hi from what I can see it looks like its the main images that are the slowing factor these are very big so my guess is its the images rather than anything else slowing down the site load
You will have better results to your question of speeding up the page draw on the freeway forum.
Kind regards max

Re: Editing the keyword and description metatag with WebYep

Hi Kal the <meta name="keywords" content="<?php if (!webyep_bIsEditMode()) webyep_shortText("keywords", false); ?>"> goes in the head of your document and then you have <?php if (webyep_bIsEditMode()) { echo "Keywords: "; webyep_shortText("keywords",...
