Re: Before purchasing WebYep

The sites are all parked under one main website, hosted by hostmonster. Will there be a problem when purchasing WebYep for each individual site since the are all under one? How do you access those individual sites? Is there one common address and every site is located in a different subfolder? E.g....

Re: White Label option ~ not white label

Its currently not possible to change the name of WebYep's GET parameters.

With a white label license your product name and logo will appear in all editors and every page of the online help.

Re: Robots index Demo page

You can disable indexing of arbitrary pages by placing a plain text file named robots.txt in your root folder. A very simple robots.txt which prohibits indexing of anything inside /webyep-system could look like this: User-agent: * Disallow: /webyep-system Please note, that already indexed pages will...

Re: Changing old menu to global (losing data)

If there a way to retain the old data? (by changing something in the data folder)? Yes there is a way to do this: ⋅  Open your documents file (/webyep-system/data/documents) and find the line that contains the name of the php page where this menu appears. Note the number next to the page ...

Re: Moved to PHP5, some pages not working

We have moved a site from a server running PHP4 to PHP5. As a result the site was failing because the old server allowed the use of <? whereas the new server doesn't. I don't know Webyeb at all, I am simply trying to help someone who's site no longer works. This has got nothing to do with WebYep. T...

Re: PHP

The home page on the server doesn't have the .php extension, so you see this warning: Has this file the correct file extension for PHP scripts? WebYep pages must have the ".php" extension and not ".html" or ".htm"!). The preview option in DW doesn't work, because other ...

Re: PHP

If PHP is not active, then WebYep won't work. If WebYep doesn't work, it can't produce popup windows. So the page itself remains as the only suspect, but there is no reason at all for an HTML (!) page to produce such a popup. In fact I've never seen a popup window on a website giving me such a messa...

Re: PHP

I've been asked to add WebYep to a clients website, which is already up and running. It is written in HTML, how do I change it to PHP? Simply rename the files - more precisely, change the file extension to .php (e.g. index.html becomes index.php). If there are hyperlinks to those pages you'll have ...
