Wow – that should definitely silence the questions about LaunchBar's development status. My first reaction when seeing the new logo was: What? Version 6? ^^ But I like it. Really many of the requested features have been added. I'm sure in the next days we'll each find out what we're still missing......

The idea is to press and hold command+spacebar until LaunchBar pops up.
Is that what you did?

I'm sure that if you can replicate those errors and it works in QuickSilver, Objective Development will do something to fix it. You can submit an official bug report to Objective Development here . ^^ the above sentence was inserted via a text clipping Now, I agree, lean is better. Which is why I us...

If it's just a text (no URL) you can select your .clip.txt and press right arrow to go into text file viewing mode. Now, with shift+command+c you can copy and paste just the text. However, I'm curious as to why the service shouldn't work – while I don't have Eudora or Word it has always worked for m...

Three? That would be Quicksilver, LaunchBar and… who? BTW, I asked the Objective Development about a specific feature (Yojimbo Indexing) and they said they had a whole new category for this sort of stuff in planning, so it _seems_ like they are still developing LaunchBar. I just don't understand the...

I usually try to be as helpful as I can in these forums, and sensible too. However… […]any chance of getting it now, 1.5 years later? …ROFL. There you have it. You're so right, ZevEisenberg. It's really a bit of a sad story with LaunchBar – the greatest tool that I use, but oh so much less than it ...

OK, Bill, what you're doing is not instant send. That's why you have t command+c. Do it this way instead: 1 Select some text using a mouse 2 Instant-Send to LaunchBar by pressing and holding command+space. You know that instant-send worked when it looks like this: http://img.skitch.com/20081025-bayw...

Hi ueila,
your URL was wrong:
x-launchbar:perform-service?name=Things/New+To-do+Containing+Selection+as+Note&string=*
You were simply missing the &string=* part at the end
Regards,
Ludwig
PS: Things indeed is a great app!
