Re: open new window insted of changing current one

Yes, there is. It's Preferences (⌘+,) -> Actions -> Options: Untick Show files and folder in current Finder window.
Or run this command in terminal:

Code: Select all

defaults delete -app LaunchBar UseCurrentFileBrowserWindow

Re: How do you open a folder in the finder?!?!

It's ↩ (Enter). It doesn't browse for me in LaunchBar, for that I have to press SpaceBar. It must be your setting, that's causing this.
You can use ⌘⌃→ (Right arrow) to open up the contextual menu, so you can see the shortcuts for available commands, and use them.

Re: Select range from Clipboard History?

You can select multiple and paste them at once using Staging . You can select multiple with Staging, and then you have to press ⌘+⇧+C. This will copy and paste, where your focus is. Press ⌘+C, just to copy and not paste. When I use LaunchBar I try not to use mouse at all. You should get into this ha...

Just one would suffice. It's either one machine multiple users, or multiple machines one user. 8)

Re: LaunchBar 6.4 incredibly slow

It might have something to do with your machine, for me there is no delay at all. Try sending an email to the support ( launchbar {at} obdev.at ) with a sample of the app.

Re: License upgrades are a scam

Dude, it's not that difficult, if you don't like the software or the price, then don't buy. They aren't forcing it down your throat, it's not a drug, if you think it's some kind of trick and you still keep buying it then you are just angry at yourself. LS has unlimited trial period, if it was just G...

Re: How to call Ruby Scripts in a Terminal app

I found something that might help you run ruby scripts, it's a workflow action. Now you'll just have to go to this action and boom that should run the scripts.

Hope it helps.

Re: "Open With" not working -- hoping someone can help

I think it's because those albums are LB object's, i.e. they are not files. They are there to be used for playing, creating playlists etc. If you select any music files, then "Send To" should work just fine.

Re: Safari suddenly asking for a lot of permissions

Post some of the requests them we'll be able to tell if they are correct or not. I think it might be Safari via Safari Networking, you should have a rule to allow pretty much all connections the designated port, because it does connect to all the web-site you visit.

Re: Copy/paste path

Do you mean the utility panel that appears when you press attach while composing a mail? I don't see an import button. To send a object to the panel you'll you can use the Enter Path in Dialog action from this repo . This action works in pretty much any open, save etc panels, and Finder. You can alw...

Re: How to call Ruby Scripts in a Terminal app

It's really not, if you do it few times. It'll remember and show Terminal as the first Send to object and you'll just have to press return. LB can only run AppleScripts and workflows directly. You could create an action, to run ruby scripts, it's not that difficult. You can also use abbreviations. I...

Re: Mail Best Practices

Don't create rule for each server, create a rule which allows connection to any server but only on a particular port. You can select that by changing your LittleSnitch preferences to show all details about connections or press D when an alert shows up. Or you can restrict it to a the mail server, if...
