Default Monitor

Hi folks.

Latest OS, latest LB.

For some reason my LB dropdown shows up in my left monitor. I have 4 monitors and the second one is the one chosen for the menubar. I can't seem to find a way of moving the LB dropdown into the second main chosen monitor.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

Re: Quick Navigation

Ah ok. I see what you mean now. I thought there would have had something a bit more direct. No wonder I missed it.

I also use iTerm as my default terminal instead of the OSX version. Cool. Thanks!

Re: Quick Navigation

Hi there. Thanks for the reply.

Been using the arrow keys for some time now. I had unix directories turned off, so that was good to see.

But the terminal commands...not sure what you mean. Three items available. Nothing that I can use to shove a single line to the terminal though.

Quick Navigation

Hi folks. Question on LB functionality. Is there a way to use LB for directory navigation? If I want to go to /etc/postfix, how can LB get me there? What about terminal commands performed through launchbar? cd /etc/postfix Sound like a new feature? Sound like something that's already there that I'm ...

Script Launching Issue

Hi folks. I am not sure if this is the right place to bring this up. I have a script that works perfectly when launched from AppleScript Editor, but doesn't perform when launched from Launchbar. Is this normal or is it something I should report? I'm not sure of the scope of the problem, but it defin...

Re: Launchbar not working right after upgrade to Mountain Lion

Might want to get AppCleaner, then delete Launchbar. It will toss all associated files into the Trash as well. Then you can reinstall to see if it works.

Re: Launchbar not working right after upgrade to Mountain Lion

I found something. If you go into the System Preferences/Energy Saver Control Panel, make sure you have the button "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" turned off. When addressing Launchbar, it has to spin up all drives in order to view the dropdown list.

Re: Launchbar not working right after upgrade to Mountain Lion

OK, found something with sending images into an email window. Grabbed 2 items on the desktop (screen shots) and hit tab to send them to a Contact whom is valid. The email window came up, entered the wrong signature (that could be Mail's problem, actually...that has been broken all this time, at leas...

Re: Launchbar not working right after upgrade to Mountain Lion

I found something.

function-function is the default key combination to start Dictation. It's also "search in Launchbar". I turned off "Search in Launchbar" in Shortcuts, and Dictation works now. Well, as good as it brings function.

Re: Launchbar not working right after upgrade to Mountain Lion

I am finding LB taking some time for items to show up. Might take 7 seconds for the right items (items I often use) to show up. LB isn't racing in the Activity Monitor though.

I thought I'd post.

Re: Shortcut to "Update Index -> All Rules"?

Strange that it would have the menu items available if I've chosen to hide the menubar (hence focus on original application).

Re: AppleScripts Not Working

That's not what I want to do. I already have a key combination that does that. I want to paste the current viewable (focus of frontmost window) URL into where the cursor is, plus two carriage returns. She ain't working here. Will restart, but I don't expect it to work. If no post within 5 min, still...
