Re: Call w/Skype (like QS)

I'm using this script … but the new skype version behaves a bit stupid … so you first have to confirm before its actually calling … and this popup isn't even activated on handle_string(s) tell application "System Events" if process "Skype" exists then set okflag to true --iTunes ...

Re: Feature Request: Set iCal event Location

I asked for the Launchbar feature to be modified to include a location over a year ago. There's been a paucity of new features released, but this is an awfully easy one to do and should have been one of them. This is in the new beta now. Still I prefer QuickCal. It integrates quite well. There is n...

Schönes Update (5.1 beta)

Glückwunsch zu der 5.1 beta. Die Designänderungen sind zunächst ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die größer Schrift ist hilfreicher als ich dachte.

Re: URL Shortening via Cloud.app API (keychain support)

It works. Out of habit I copy&pasted the URL before triggering the script. That has caused this behavior. So the script works on Chrome if you have no hyperlink in your Clipboard already. I guess that's good enough for me for now. Many thanks for helping me out. It should also work if you send ...

Re: URL Shortening via Cloud.app API (keychain support)

So your script looks like that: -- »Get ShortURL via Cloud.app« -- by @ptujec -- -- using following sources: -- http://www.leancrew.com/all-this/2007/11/long-and-shortened-url-scripts/ -- by @drdrang -- -- added truncateString() function -- perl url encode routine - handles IDN and UTF-8 Chars) -- b...

Re: URL Shortening via Cloud.app API (keychain support)

Uhm. Yes. I'm on Google's chromey Chrome here. I wasn't aware that this script is browser depended. I guess there is no way I change a line of code and it miraculously works with Chrome? Try … tell application "Google Chrome" set longURL to URL of active tab of window 1 end tell instead o...

Re: URL Shortening via Cloud.app API (keychain support)

For me it says "The variable longURL is not defined" when I try to trigger the script. Using QuickSend there's another error: "Can't get text 0 thru 16 of "HTTP Digest: Access denied" Public links are actived - I'd love to use this - any tips? 1) On run its looking for the ...

Re: Screen shots and files sharing with Dropbox

My 2 choices when it comes to url shorting services are: The problem with cloudapp is that the shorten links are not short at all (m) and it needs to be running all the time.. …It would be really great if you could send me a patch with the growl improvements tough.. I guess its a matter of taste. B...

Re: Screen shots and files sharing with Dropbox

Hi ptujec, thanks for referring to my gist, but please consider exchanging it by my github repository: m I've never used cloudapp before but decided to give it a try in order to try to understand why you are using they link shortener instead. (The script didn't work because it didn't find any Cloud...

Re: Screen shots and files sharing with Dropbox

Today I unfortunately reached my Cloudapp upload limited. So I stumbled upon you script. Thanks! It works great. I changed a few things though … I added "Growl priority" and a Growl notification for "on error". Also added Cloudapp support (ShortURL) and skiped the selecting Short...

iCal - Show date

http://f.cl.ly/items/1V13383x0w2T3V111U0T/iCal%20-%20Show%20date.png This is a quick and dirty script to look up dates in iCal. The year is set automatically to the year of the current date. So you just enter e.g. "3.1." This could be much smarter only showing dates in the future. But act...
