Re: Suggestions: Autocomplete, Mail.app, Growl, Multiple files

I think that the shift+up/down shortcut must be implemented. It's such a natural thing to do, that you do it instinctively and it feels broken when it doesn't work inside LB like it works everywhere else. The famous Comma Trick is also very useful. Maybe the comma key could be used to add the select...

Re: Suggestions: Autocomplete, Mail.app, Growl, Multiple files

I thought about sending an email but I realised that it'd be better if others could see my ideas and improve them. I hope you found them interesting. Are there any plans you can reveal about the Launchbar roadmap, after 5.2 is released?

Thanks a lot for keeping Launchbar alive.

[FEATURE] Autocomplete, Mail.app, Growl, Multiple files

I love that Launchbar is finally seeing some updates with 5.2b. Here are some ideas I've had that I think will make LB even better than it already is. I know that 5.2 is already late in its development to include any of the below. I'd like to hear if you (the Objective Development team) or the LB co...

Re: Add item to Dock

After some searching I've found the dockutil program that makes adding, replacing and removing items from the Dock a breeze. It's a Python program that provides a standardized syntax for adding apps and files to the Dock. I haven't found the time to incorporate it in my LB workflow, but it should be...

Add item to Dock

I would like to be able to add the selected item in LB to the Dock, without using the mouse. I use the Dock as a to-do list and I want to add newly downloaded apps or documents to it. Finding the app or document is easy with LB, but having to use the mouse to add it to the Dock breaks keyboard-only ...

Create new LB5 actions via AppleScript

Is it possible to create new actions for LB5 using AppleSript? I'm thinking along the lines of getting text input through LB5 like you already can with the Calculator or the iCal actions, processing it with a custom-built AS script or using AS to parse it and interact with an application. That would...

I have to admit that I had Quicksilver's trigger feature in mind :-) I did not know the trick about holding the last character to invoke the selection, that's very handy. This is almost as good as having QS' triggers, I'll need to experiment with it. It sounds very promising though, thanks a lot :-)...

Feature Request: Keyboard shortcuts per index item

(This is the only missing feature that keeps me from buying a license for Launchbar) I would like to be able to assign keyboard shortcuts to individual index entries. For example, I would like to assign a shortcut to directly invoke the "iTunes Play/Pause" script. That way I could control ...
