Re: Console messages--related to slowdown?

WARNING: Method selectRow:byExtendingSelection: in class PLTableView is deprecated.

This warning message is actually harmless. But we'll address this in v2.3, so it won't appear anymore. Thanks for the pointer.

Re: Can't get it to launch

LaunchBar starts a new search shortly after the last character has been typed. This Retype Delay can be configured in LaunchBar Preferences > General. If you increase this delay LaunchBar will accept even slowly typed abbreviations as a whole.

Re: Block subdomains? [SOLVED]

Little Snitch 2.3 adds support for domain rules, allowing you to specify rules that match an entire domain instead of just a particular hostname.

A nightly build of Little Snitch 2.3 is already available and can be downloaded from:

Re: language & text input source problem

Open System Preferences > Languages & Text > Input Sources again and check the Input source shortcuts section. Most likely the Select previous input source command will have Command-Space assigned.

Re: Little Snitch Compared to OS X

If you have a rule in Little Snitch that allows any connection for any application, and if there's no further deny rule, the result is exactly the same as if Little Snitch wasn't installed at all. You can then add a single deny rule for a particular application to prevent Internet access for this ap...

Re: New iMac today - can I export my rules from old mac to new

Hoping there is an option to export my rules from my old white imac to my new shiny silver imac?? Open Little Snitch Configuration on your old iMac and choose Rules > Back up Rules from the menu. Then import the resulting backup file on your new iMac and using the Revert to Backup command. Also, do...

Re: Permanent ksurl exception?

Obviously the "ksurl" executable is put in a temporary folder every time it gets invoked, and gets removed from there once it has finished execution. Unfortunately the name of this folder is different each time (with some random number in it). So if you create a "forever" rule, i...

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] After opening a .dgm, go to volume

Would be great if after opening the dmg, launchbar automatically positioned itself inside the mounted volume as soon it is ready.

LaunchBar does exactly that.

Re: Adding files to the index

Please make sure that the folders whose contents you want to access via LaunchBar are actually covered by LaunchBar's configuration. So for example, if you wish to access all items inside your Documents folder (including its subfolders), make sure that the sidebar of the index window (Command-Option...
