Return to last location
I frequently use LB to move files. And sometimes I discover a file I had overlooked that I need to put in the same location as the previous one. Is there any way to select the second file from Finder (I use ⌘-spacebar, held down) then return to the previous location? Or do you always have to navigat...

Re-selecting a folder you have just used
When moving a file, I often use Launchbar. I'll select the file (cmd-spacebar held down) then navigate to a folder and use cmd-return to drop the file into its new location. But if I discover I'd like to move a different file to that same folder, I have to search and navigate through the whole hiera...

Format for names and addresses copied from Contacts
Launchbar copies addresses from my Contacts app like this:
Company
Firstname Lastname
Address
City ST Zip
I would like to change it to this format:
Firstname Lastname
Company
Address
City ST Zip
Is that possible? If so, how? Thanks!

Re: Removable hard drive won't eject "in use by LaunchBar"
Guess I had not subscribed to the thread! But finally did this and I see no reference in the suggested log to the external HD that won't unmount. (I've now subscribed in case you respond.) In my case, the external drive has two volumes: a large storage section and a smaller one where I clone my inte...

Launchbar and Basecamp
I use Basecamp frequently every day but this question could apply to any site that's organized similarly. Normally, you go to your main dashboard and from there select a project. Then, within that project section, you have discussions, files, etc. you can select to view. I would LOVE it if I could u...

Copying/pasting info from Contacts
I find it very useful to use LaunchBar to find info in my Contacts and to copy and paste addresses and phone numbers into web forms or other similar apps. BUT when LaunchBar sees a two-word city (like Los Angeles), it splits the name into two separate words that seem to have to be pasted as two sepa...

Answered my own question: Try it. So far so good. Thanks.

Re: Avoiding duplicate file listings in index
That's helpful. Thank you. So the idea is not to have any overlap in the Indexing set-up. Ideally, I'd simply like to have LB index my whole Home folder and all subfolders and be done with it. Just concerned about whether that would slow things to a crawl, although I have an SSD on my Macbook Pro. D...

Avoiding duplicate file listings in index
When I use LB to find a folder, I am occasionally finding two identical items in the list. Seems not to matter which I choose -- I end up in the same place. I want to set up Indexes so they are most efficient and avoid any duplication. I have my active project files syncing in Dropbox. And I have an...

Re: Removable hard drive won't eject "in use by LaunchBar"
I am having this identical problem and the terminal command seems to give me no results at all. Mac OX 10.8.4 on a 15" Retina MacBook Pro.
Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks!!

Duplicate contacts in Launchbar after installing Mtn Lion
After installing Mountain Lion and setting up iCloud, I found I had duplicate records in my Contacts list in Launchbar. These were not duplicated (visibly, anyway) in Contacts.app. But in trying to fix this, I found Contacts had some duplicate fields in it, due to some sync problems with iCloud. I c...
