Re: 1Password uninstalled - but still in LB Index

I expect that you need to remove 1Password from the Third Party Apps section of the LaunchBar Index.

Re: Searching HBO or HBOGO

I've found the best way to create new search templates is to go to the site's main page, start the search, and enter 'test' for the search criteria. Once the search is completed, I copy the URL for the results and replace 'test' with '*'. For example, doing this search on the main HBO page returned ...

Re: MAC Little Snitch with Norton Security Suite

You have posted this in the LaunchBar Search Templates forum, where you probably will not get a response to a LS question. Suggest asking again in the LS support section.

Re: LB only copys last item to clipboard history

The issue in 1Password is quite possibly due to its clear clipboard function, which is set in the 1Password security preferences.

Re: LB only copys last item to clipboard history

As a suggestion, you might want to try filing a support request directly with Objective Development. This is largely a user-to-user forum, thus they don't always reply to these threads. More importantly, your issue is not a universal problem with LaunchBar. Just like what @mot said above, I've never...

Re: My Google Search Template doesn't show, help

I have no suggestion as to how this might have happened, but perhaps once you have found it with the search templates sub-index, try assigning a 'GOO' abbreviation to the search?

Re: Open contact in Google Maps instead of Maps?

I tried it on a couple of contacts yesterday before I posted and it worked fine. After reading your response, I tried it again with some other contacts and the results were all over the place. The search still worked with my original test contacts, but clearly what I suggested is not a reliable solu...

Re: Open contact in Google Maps instead of Maps?

The LaunchBar documentation was never updated for version 6, and while most of the version 5 help topics still apply, it would appear that the Google Maps shortcut went away. Assuming that you have the Google Maps search template turned on in the index, you can open the contact address in Google Map...

Re: Stupid Question...But Vital!

You could use LaunchBar to find (assuming you are using Safari) Safari>History>'the web page you are currently viewing' and assign an abbreviation as @davemee mentioned. However, I expect as soon as your browser history is cleared, your reference to the page will be lost. You will need to bookmark t...

Re: Feature Available? / Request

The macOS has this ability by default, using the control-F2 keys. You may also need to include the Fn key depending on your macOS Keyboard preference setting for the Function (Fn) keys (Fn-Control-F2).

Re: Word –> Recent Documents?

Make sure you have searching Contacts enabled in the LaunchBar index, then you should see this (attached). At this point, begin typing a name and you will be presented with a list of matching contacts. Or just bypass the Contacts app in LaunchBar entirely by typing the contact's name when you activa...

Re: How to prevent/block Apple's newly introduced "silent updates"?

I've never had this happen that I'm aware of, but the only option I have checked is Auto check for updates. Could be a bug in the App Store preference, perhaps you are running the High Sierra beta? Either way, I'd suggest unchecking everything if you want to maintain complete control over what and w...

Re: How to prevent/block Apple's newly introduced "silent updates"?

You should not need LS to prevent this. The macOS settings for auto downloading and installing updates are in System Preferences>App Store, and I suspect that you have some options set to auto update.

The post is from a spam bot, which includes the links to spam sites that have nothing to do with LaunchBar. When you quote their entire post, with links, from the bot then you are helping the spammers.

You will have a better chance of getting an answer to your question if you post it in the Little Snitch forum. This is the forum for general discussions of LaunchBar.
