BigIP does not trigger change of profiles

Recently the company I am working for switched from standard VPN (through Mac's VPN-configuration) to BigIP (f5). Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to make Little Snitch (a) recognize that there is a VPN-configuration open and (b) therefore trigger a profile change.

Any help?!

Re: 1Password problem

I am not much of an expert, but in my case, I forgot to activate

Code: Select all

1Password > Settings > Advanced > Allow integration of 3rd party apps
. Perhaps this helps?

Suggestion: Include currently active profile in Alert-Box

Hi,

I love using the new profiles-feature in Little Snitch. However, I am never sure in which profile rules created through the alert-box are created. Perhaps you could somewhere include a hint like "This rule will be created in your profile: Trusted".

Thank you!

Re: VPN Binding

I have no idea, whether this topic is still being watched, but afaik you can use LS profiles to define one profile for your vpn-connection and one for your "regular" connection. In your regular-profile, you simply deactivate all connections (you can even prevent system- and locked-apps to ...

If LS tells me, app connects to xy.com, does it really?

Hi, I, sorry, Little Snitch recently caught the backup-software "Arq" trying to connect to static.tumblr.com, which I blocked as I do not see why Arq, which uploads my data to s3.amazonaws.com (S3) needs a connection to static.tumblr.com. When I asked the developer of Arq about this on Twi...
