Re: Very odd problem when using VPN

OK, so apparently the vpn was blocking the port. I found another one which wasn't so strict.

Sorry about that

Very odd problem when using VPN

Hello. I have a very odd problem which recently arose for no apparent reason. I'm trying to find the culprit but it's proving elusive. Basically, when connecting to a PPTN VPN I can no longer connect to fastun.com:7000 (a compression web proxy, but I've tried to debug this problem by using the comma...

Incompatible with WakeOnLan?

Can someone else with Mountain Lion try a network scan with WakeOnLan and let me know if it freezes every network app and prevents a clean shut-down? It locks up every app to the point I can't even kill the process, including programs I run afterwards like ping.

Thanks

Feature suggestion: bandwidth throttle?

I know there are major bugs in version 3 which are probably occupying your time, but it would be nice if I could do a per-process bandwidth throttle as some processes are being really greedy on my setup

Opinion on LS3's "Simplified Connection Alert"

I love most of the improvements, but I'd rather have the old dialog as I could choose 'once' simply by hitting the right and enter keys.

The new dialog isn't simpler or less intrusive IMHO. There plenty of room for a 'Once' and other buttons.

Re: Feature request: expiring rules

A better solution would be for macports to suck less. FYI I use both macports and fink.

fink, for example, not only doesn't have this problem, but downloads everything before compiling so you don't have to be on the internet constantly. macports is just plain infuriating.

Re: Can LS Use Block Lists?

IP List would probably be a better term than IP Range as range may imply only one range of IPs.

Although honestly I don't care what you call it so long the feature is added :)

Re: Can LS Use Block Lists?

I would enjoy PG list support. 1) PG is cumbersome 2) PG can only block the entire machine from an IP range. It cannot differentiate between applications. I want to block some IPs from one app and some IPs from another. 3) Why should I have multiple IP blocking programs? The best implementation woul...
