Re: Clipboard issue where last item copied is not pasted

The problem seems to be more specifically linked to macOS Mail native client. When writing an email and trying to paste either text or an URL, I’m never able to just paste the latest item copied. I must access the clipboard (display its content within Launchbar) and select the first item in the list.

Clipboard issue where last item copied is not pasted

Hello, I’m running 6.9.4 on macOS 10.13.3 Just recently, the cliboard function in Launchbar started to misbehave. When I copied an item and then a moment later try to paste it, it’s an older items that is being pasted. If I go see the content of my clipboard history in Launchbar, I can see the most ...

Clipboard history not maintained after restart

Hi, This seems to be an old problem, but I cannot find a way to fix it. Even though I have checked the option to maintain de clipboard history after a restart, the clipboard history is wiped out after each restart. I tried to unchecked and checked again the option, but it didn’t solved the issue. Th...

Re: Indexing every 2 seconds. How can I stop this?

Did the same thing on my side: uninstalled everything, emptied the trash (but did not restart), downloaded the nightly build (6.1), reinstalled, customized it the way I like it, and its been running every since without the problem I had before. I added an indexing rule for my main data folder with a...

Re: Indexing every 2 seconds. How can I stop this?

Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated. I think you forgot to put the HTML link for the instructions.

Am I correct to assume that you did a fresh install, dumping all your preferences, and therefor starting with LB as if you had never used it before? You re-customized your index, etc.?

Re: Indexing every 2 seconds. How can I stop this?

Hi, I’ve also been in contact with support and I would also describe it as being “moderately responsive”. I received the same suggestions you did. My problem with deactivating “suspicious indexing rules” is two-fold. First, it’s a rather vague criterion. I’ve deactivated all external drives and made...

Re: Indexing every 2 seconds. How can I stop this?

Are you using LB6? Are you able to monitor the activity of your CPU? I noticed a similar pattern where LB6 is constantly launching into burst of indexing, eating a lot of CPU resources in the process. When I check CPU process, it looks like the teeth of a saw: it spikes each time LB6 launches a new ...

Re: LB6: indexing and process usage

Anyone know if this is normal behavior to expect from LB6? Looking at the forum’s thread, it’s not the only report of high CPU usage by LB6. In the meantime, I have put the upgrade on ice and went back to LB5 where the index stays updated without constantly soliciting the CPU. Thanks in advance. Wou...

Re: LB6 indexing schedules

There seems to have a number of reports about LB6 high CPU usage while indexing. It would be nice to have a feedback on that issue as well. For my part, I have resolved in returning to LB5.

Re: GOODBYE LB6

What procedures did you follow to return to LB5? Just delete LB6 and rename the old LB5 app (the name was changed upon installing LB6)? Does the index and pref follows from LB6 to LB5? I guess not.

I’m considering doing the same thing.

Re: LB6 - very large memory usage - 500Mb+

Found this thread after posting about the exact similar issue. I also attached a screenshot of my CPU usage: LB6 indexing makes it look like the teeth of a saw. Constant burst of indexing eats a lot of CPU. It’s non-stop. Quting LB6 and/or relaunching the machine doesn’t not solve the issue.

LB6: indexing and process usage

I’ve noticed that LB6 seems to consume more CPU than LB5 when indexing. I never quite noticed when LB5 was indexing. LB6 seems to be always indexing, and by short burst: it’s indexing one folder (uses 30 to 70% CPU), stopped (CPU usage stopped as well), start again. And it goes on for hours. The gra...

Preserve history across restart

Hi,

Despite having checked the “Preserve history across restart” in the preference pane of LB6, the clipboard’s history is deleted each time I restart the machine. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,

P.
