Re: [LB6 Extension] Spotify Actions

Unfortunately this seems to be an issue with Spotify. The AppleScript dictionary moved to a different location where OS X can't find it anymore. Right now Spotify is more or less unscriptable.

Re: Little Snitch 3.5 can't rebot after installation

There is no focus on a single app. LaunchBar and Little Snitch are our two main products.

Re: Little Snitch 3.5 can't rebot after installation

Well EMR it is not a small company as you described. It owns Launch Bar and Little Snitch and other companies. Who doesn't have Launch Bar? Everyone has it in some manner across many OSs. Not that I'm aware of other companies we own. Would be nice though ;) We are a team of 10 people (not all of th...

Re: LITTAL SNITCH FAILS TO INSTALL IN YOSEMITE

It has been fixed without saying a word to me or anyone else. Wonder why they were silent when we comprise the users they depend on for their cash. http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/releasenotes.html Happy to hear that 3.5.1 works fine for you jazzyguy. I'm not sure what you define as silen...

Re: LITTAL SNITCH FAILS TO INSTALL IN YOSEMITE

I wanted to make a clean install of Yosemite on a Mac Mini. For security purposes, the first program I wanted to install is Little Snitch. This is my story: 1. Clean install of Yosemite via USB stick 2. Tried to install LS 3.5 3. OS X Yosemite wouldn't boot properly 4. Since it was a clean install ...

Re: LITTAL SNITCH FAILS TO INSTALL IN YOSEMITE

Guys, I'm really sorry that Little Snitch is causing those issues for you. And I'm sorry as well that it took so long until you got an »official« answer. I will try to bring some light into the darkness. This has been posted on Twitter in response to my above request; there is no difference between ...

Re: Little Snitch & Battle.Net

Hi Sven, if this happens the next time please open your Little Snitch Configuration, select one of the invalid rules and choose »Repair Rule« from the context menu. Do you get a valid rule then?

Re: Feature Desperately Needed

The 1 hour timeframe does not apply to traffic amounts. Traffic amounts are always since the start date of the network monitor (usually equal to your system uptime). Furthermore if you sort the list by traffic amount you get bars illustrating the amount of traffic per app. If you need exact values, ...

Re: Can LB inject the stdout of a shell script like a snippe

First of all, maybe there is something I overlooked but LaunchBar snippets seem to the way more elegant solution for that. This snippet should create exactly the output you are looking for: <date MM/dd/yy> - <time hh:mm:ss a> About the shell script: I would strongly suggest to place the script in an...

Re: [SECURITY] Little Snitch update overs over HTTP

This leaves users vulnerable to man in the middle binary replacement attacks. No it doesn't. We use a public key cryptographic signature which is distributed with the software update feed. Little Snitch Software Update has the public key to verify this signature before installation. If you check th...

Re: [LB6 Action] Search Spotify (with predictions) [V 1.5]

@nosrac a few things that came to my mind: What about using subtitles for the artist instead of adding it to the title? This way the song title would stand out a lot better I guess. Looking at the built-in Spotify search, it seems that they implemented a pretty clever search behavior. Looks like the...

[LB6 Extension] Spotify Actions

A set of Spotify Actions meant as a replacement for the built-in iTunes actions. Right now the set contains the following actions: ⋅  Play / Pause ⋅  Next Song ⋅  Previous Song ⋅  Toggle Repeat ⋅  Toggle Shuffle ⋅  Share Current Song (on Tw...

Re: [LB6 Action] Search Twitter using Tweetbot

The last option is actually the one I'm triggering right now. Sadly it looks for the twitter handle only (not for names, or something else).
