Re: "Open With" not working -- hoping someone can help

@ratty -- thank you for your reply. After reading your post I tried it with the actual song files (so when I hit tab for 'Instant Send' then type 'Cog' LB displays "10 Songs --> Open With Cog". But when I hit [return], the result is as follows: System Sound "Funk" is emitted, and...

"Open With" not working -- hoping someone can help

Hi, I've noticed since upgrading to Launchbar 6 the send/"open with" functionality is not working for me like it did before. Example: I invoke Launchbar, search a band name, arrow over to 'x albums', select all, keystroke [TAB], and the "Open With?" message comes up. So far so go...

Re: How to hide LaunchBar when executing an AppleScript?

Unless I'm misunderstanding something, adding this line at the beginning of your script (below "on run" or "on handle_string")

tell application "LaunchBar" to hide

Hope that works for you.

How to Access Clipboard History via Applescript

Hi - I'm wondering if there's a way to directly access specific LB clipboard history items via appleScript. For example, I want to paste into a textedit document, clipboard history item 2 followed by item 5 followed by item 1. I can cobble together a script using system events and keystrokes, but I'...

Re: Problems w/ Built-In Actions

@derekJAB You could write your own script or try http://dougscripts.com/itunes/ Done. Cobbled together a script. Thanks. The built-in actions are contained within the application itself: LaunchBar/Contents/Resources/Actions. Right you are. Thanks. I imagine ~/Library/Application Support/Launchbar/Ac...

Re: Problems w/ Built-In Actions

@derekJAB - Thanks for the response. All actions enabled. I see you're correct re. "Increase/Decrease Volume" actions being for the system, not for iTunes. Which leaves me with 2 questions for anyone out there: 1. Is there a way to use Launchbar to increase/decrease iTunes volume? 2. Why i...

Problems w/ Built-In Actions

Hi - Hoping someone here can help me. Was trying to use the built-in Increase Volume action for iTunes. It didn't work. Went looking for the script in ~/Library/Application Support/Launchbar/Actions and found the folder to be empty. Confused. Then I tried another built-in action - iTunes-Next Song. ...
