Re: Parse Multimarkdown into HTML

Ok, I'm getting there, I actually created a workflow (service) in Automator that helps me realize exactly what I want. It takes the selected text. Parses it and send it to the clipboard. If I select a text, then go to the application name in the menu bar, select service and then the service in quest...

Re: Initiate Facetime Call

Ahhh! So fturl (previsouly url) is better because it is a variable and theString is already a variable, so you're not using the proper variable if you put theString instead of fturl, although in this instance, both method arrive at the same result.

Re: Initiate Facetime Call

Re: Initiate Facetime Call

Ok fixed it. I just replaced url with theString and it compiled and now works beautifully. Now, I'm a complete noob in Apple Scripts so if I made a mistake, please tell me. Here's the Script I end up with on handle_string(theString) if theString starts with "tel:" then -- make it compatibl...

The last script looks really Cool, but when I try to compile it Apple Script tells me:

Can’t set URL to "facetime://" & theString. Access not allowed.

Any suggestion?

Re: Script to convert images into JPEG

Hey guess what, I found a workaround... I took your workflow, open it in Workflow and saved it as an app. I put the app in the Application folder and now I just have to send the file to the application and it works wonderfully. AWESOME! I'm really greatful for your help and I can't tell you how laun...
