Re: Indexing Applications

I am online today to investigate the same problem. I’m running the latest OS X on the last supported MacBook Pro and it is slow in general, especially for file tasks. LB recreates the index after every login and it is very time consuming. Are there some ways around this? I’ve set Applications to ind...

tailored indexing

I was reading this thread because LB seemed to be slow to respond. Looking over the Configuration, I saw that two new directories were there (I put them there, I'm sure, just didn't think about the consequences at the time). At some point a few months ago I had installed gnucash, which meant install...

code signing

from m "Your code must be immutable once signed. After signing, do not attempt to change executable code (including symbol tables), the Info.plist, or your program’s resource files. Do all that before signing. If you make modifications after signing, the signature may be invalid. Programs with ...

core data items available?

I don't really know how it works, but with Core Data framework being used more and more (Delicious Library 2, Mac Gourmet, maybe the new Quicken, etc), would LB have access to drill down into those data sets almost "automagically"?

progress

OmniFocus has moved on and now with the scriptable QuickEntry panel there are more possibilities and, IMHO, less need for LB to be able to create an Action. Right now they are working on Mail integration but using Services (while Curt Clifton has some Applescripts that offer more features right now)...

Can someone provide an example of using the Services menu via LB? The services menu items do not show up in my configuration, so perhaps that's why I'm having trouble.

Re: 10.4.10

after running into problems with the safari 3 beta, I'm a bit hesitant to jump into 10.4.10. Should I be worried? No. It works just fine. Safari v3 is a beta. Safari v3 beta changes core system level files and caused LB to fail. (uninstall fixed the problem). I'm concerned those updates may have pr...

automator workflow script plugin

I'm using Automator to create a workflow for the first time. I've saved it as a Script plugin so it's in ~/Library/Scripts but LB doesn't see it in the Scripts indexing rule (that folder is checked in preferences) and opens the script in Automator when reached via "Automator" spacebar alth...

OmniFocus

I'd like to see discussion here on ideas and efforts to have LB work well with OmniFocus, OmniGroup's new task management app. Things people are using Quicksilver for include converting a task in OF to an event in iCal but I'd also just like to use it to find my projects and my contexts and eventual...

multiline input?

No replies? Does that mean it's not possible? or just so obviously possible it would seem silly to post a response?

Anyone else using Kinkless GTD with LB (instead of with Quicksilver)?

multiline feed to send to kinkless script

The Send to KGTD Advanced script works well with LaunchBar and Kinkless/OmniOutliner system but the script allows the use of multiline input "thing to do" > "project" @ "context" "note text such as 'repeat every week'" Is it possible to enter a newline in LB?
