Re: LS + GlimmerBlocker?

Weird. Have you cleared your cache? Also, I’d double-check my Network prefs for all the connections, to make sure the new proxy settings are as they should be.

Beyond that, I suggest writing the developer — he’s been pretty responsive in my experience and may have some suggestions for diagnostics.

Re: LS + GlimmerBlocker?

⋅ Choose “ SELECT ALL ”, and then copy the below. ⋅ In GB, select the filter in which you want to include the rule. (I created a new filter just for this rule, to make it easy for me to keep track of.) ⋅ Paste — and the rule will automagically appear! (A very cool GB f...

Re: LS + GlimmerBlocker?

Huh. The fix that iDan pointed to works for me. (10.6.3, Safari 4.0.5, GB 1.4.4)

Note that when GB is activated or reactivated, and it gives you the option to “Update proxy settings in Network?” you must choose “No” in order for the fix to keep working.

Re: Block subdomains?

Would it be possible for LS to track name-to-IP mappings?

It seems to me that, as much effort as this would entail, it would be a valuable feature, considering the increasingly capable tracking mechanisms being implemented today.

Disable Little Snitch from menubar

I want to be able to disable Little Snitch’s filtering from the menubar. Right now I have to open the prefs, switch to the “General” tab, click “Stop” and then close the prefs.

Thanks for reading!

Re: Block subdomains?

Agreeing with this 500%. This is insane! My typing is being interrupted right now (by iTunes) for this very reason. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this is already a feature, but an obscure one. Either way, I wish the developer would just come on here and say something about it. As it is, it see...
