Re: Request: Application bandwidth throttle

I am a paying customer and this is mission creep, totally unrelated to LS's purpose which is to control the establishment of connections not the ongoing operation of those connections. If you want bandwidth shaping do it in your router.

Bad idea please ignore this request.

Re: LS 4.1.2 denying connections to google.com

It just happened again, fortunately I noticed straight away. I was updating Java when requested and clicked deny on a couple of dialog boxes. Then a bunch of sites including google.com were blocked by LS. Java updates were not involved in previous occurrences of this issue.

LS 4.1.2 denying connections to google.com

A bit vague I'm afraid but this has now happened twice. At some point yesterday I discover that Safari (my main browser) will not connect to google.com (or gmail or images or ...), google.co.uk is OK and Firefox works fine. After some hours today spent trying to fix the problem I remember Little Sni...

Re: Filtering by Mac (hardware) address

Is this a difficult or ridiculous question? Possibly LS cannot filter at the MAC level. So is it the case that the only way I can allow remote access from arbitrary locations using LS is to permit all accesses to a given port and then use some other mechanism like public keys to provide the necessar...

Filtering by Mac (hardware) address

I would like to be able to ssh into my mac from my iPad while I am on the road, without compromising security. The problem of course is that the IP address is different each time. The ideal is to permit accesses from a given MAC address but there appears to be no way to do this. Is there any way to ...
