Re: mDNSResponder automatically denied incoming connections

it seems little snitch does not detect the IPv6 link-local addresses as local network. also it should detect a IPv6 global temporary dynamic address (that contains mac-address but not used for public connections) out of the ISP assigned prefix as local address or as a new group that can be select to...

Re: Little Snitch Network Monitor (v.4.0.2) displays nothing but window border in Sierra 10.12.6 (latest)

Hi Christian, as far as I understood, this issue will not be fixed, so it will be a known permanent open issue. Is there really no another option to get the map graphic rendered? Else, can you please ensure this will be officially stated and listed in the product specification and requirements? Unti...

LS not showing Thunderbird connections

I recently installed LS on a new computer with El Cap. It works fine but I noticed today that almost no connections are being shown for Thunderbird in the monitor. Not when it opens and checks all my accounts, not when I send mail through port 465 or receive mail through port 995. The only time conn...

Re: Network monitoring/extraction?

note that capturing e-mail traffic, as described above, hardly ever works nowadays because most mail providers secure mail communications with SSL. You can check this in your mail program -> settings -> accounts: If it uses port 110 / 143 / 25 your communication with the mailserver is probably not s...

Strange shell script behavior

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new at scripting, so my apologizes in advance if I don't explain this very well. I have a shell script that I launch from LaunchBar, but the odd thing is that LaunchBar behaves differently depending upon where the script is launched from. If the script is launched from a...

How to hide an App from network monitor

Hi,
I'm trying Little Snitch after using HO, but can't find one of the basic options on network monitor - ignoring\hiding specific app.

I'd really appreciate your help, and also if you have other tips on customizing the network monitor for my personal preferences.

Many thanks (:

Creating rules for folder

Hi community, is it somehow possible to create a rule for a certain folder, which then recursively checks for any application/process that is within that folder? I have a game that updates itself every week or so with a new patch and then would change the folder structure so that the rule I set for ...
