iCal integration, specifically reminders

I have heard smatterings of information about LB having support for Lion and the new cloud based Reminder system in iCal. I can't find any single source of data on how to interface with it or how to use it. I currently run the LB beta 5.2 nightly (905) on Processor 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory ...

Weird, I received an email stating there was a reply to this post, though I am not seeing anything: You are receiving this notification because you are watching the topic, "Blocking in LB, if any one thing were to be looked into..." at "Objective Development Forums". This topic h...

Blocking in LB, if any one thing were to be looked into...

If one thing in LB could be addressed, it would be blocking of LB when other scripts/applications are invoked. I do not want to remember to command-return to send the action into the background. Perhaps in the index, I could select an item and check off a box that says: "[X] Always run this ite...

Lost ability to append to file

Hello, I select a file in the Finder and use instant send, or I select a file normally in LB, then press command-shift-A which used to bring up a small text input which would allow me to append data to the file. I seem to have list this append ability. Probably as I was cleaning out some of the item...

Just contact us via http://www.obdev.at/launchbar/support.html. We have Things running here as well.

Cool, thanks... And... Done.

Re: Instant send

We've identified a possible cause for this problem. It seems to be possible that Mac OS X wrongly reports a particular key as being pressed although it actually isn't. When this problem occurs again, please open the Mac OS X Keyboard Viewer (which can be enabled in System Preferences > Language &am...

Re: Instant send

We'll add some optional logging in the next version (can be turned on/off at runtime from the command line) Are you aware of what triggers the keys for instant send to go deaf, yet command-space and all other keys appear to work fine? I use double shift for instant send, as I feel any single key is...

Re: Instant send

Is there any chance everyone can list the 3rd party apps that use keyboard commands often, perhaps those are causing conflict? Developer... What is the listener that looks for the keypresses, is it a process we can look for to see if it is there, or if it has died? If we run a sample on the launchba...

Re: Instant send

There is a bug somewhere. I use 2x press of shift, this always worked fine, never failed me. I think it was at 10.6.3 updater, or one of the other updates around that time that made this an issue. We need a debug version that will log the important bits, as something is certainly off right now. All ...

Re: LaunchBar, Growl, and customization of events

… The problem with this, is as far as I can tell, all events will be connected to the Growl configuration for LaunchBar. ... Thats not the case. I have several different custom user actions (e.g. this for Toogle Airport on/off or writing mails within LB ) and they all have their individual growlTic...

LaunchBar, Growl, and customization of events

Given a scenario where I have some custom written AppleScripts, shell scripts, or other arbitrary items that will end up living in ~/Library/Application Support/LaunchBar/Actions, I have been using Growl as my notification system more and more. The problem with this, is as far as I can tell, all eve...

Re: Completely freeze LunachBar for 30 seconds or more

I am confused on a technical level about this for a number of reasons. Your statement of "obviously causing a deadlock", can you elaborate, as it is not obvious to me why it happens. It hangs in -[NSConcreteTask waitUntilExit]. This means that LaunchBar waits, until the execution of your ...

Thanks for the reply, you are correct, option-return does help. But I am confused on a technical level about this for a number of reasons. Your statement of "obviously causing a deadlock", can you elaborate, as it is not obvious to me why it happens. Referencing the above posted script wit...
