Re: Updating index for home directory

Periodically: This is what I have been using. It is setup to run every day at noon. The problem is that when it does run, it spikes CPU up to 100% and LaunchBar is unresponsive for the ~10 minute indexing process. I've been living with it, but it is frustrating. This is the primary reason I've been...

Re: Updating index for home directory

Re: Problems with Index of 5.2 Nightly (905)

I have the same problem.

Work around: Create a new (separate) rule for indexing the application folder and disable the default rule.

Re: iCal integration, specifically reminders

I have heard smatterings of information about LB having support for Lion and the new cloud based Reminder system in iCal. I can't find any single source of data on how to interface with it or how to use it. I currently run the LB beta 5.2 nightly (905) on Processor 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory...

Re: Open a new Finder window for each folder

Try Shift-Alt-Return when opening a folder. Is that the behaviour you are looking for?

Re: shortcut to repeat the last search?

Just to add another nice feature from LB: invoke LB, select another search (engine), hit shift-space and the search term from your previous search will be used.

Re: Dropbox synchronization

I don't know but I doubt it. As far as I know LB stores custom search templates in …/Library/Application Support/LaunchBar/Configuration.plist and, therefore, can't find the file as long as it lives in Dropbox. However, it might be possible to copy (not move) the file configuration.plist into the Dr...

As far as I can tell there is a default action for recent used items. Have you tried to type the name of the desired menu item?

Creating a UTF-8 search template with

Code: Select all

http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=*&tag=srch&searchtype=downloads&filterName=platform%3DMac&filter=platform%3DMac

should do the trick.
