Re: Sending an email to multiple email addresses at same time

The closest thing I ever figured out was to use clip merge to get all the addresses then switch to mail and paste the addresses in a new email message. Doesn't really seem to be much of a time saver though.

Sending an email to multiple email addresses at same time

I can't seem to find a way to select or otherwise send multiple email addresses to a mail app. I tried the trick that was suggested about selecting multiple files through clip merge to mail, but then the addresses wind up in the body of the email not in the address bar. If I only select the first ad...

Re: Search by Color Label

Anyway, I'm still wondering if LB can be persuaded to search by label …

I haven't found one. Let me know if you come across something. Otherwise I guess it's a feature request.

Re: Search by Color Label

I used the method described in cibi3d's comment Thanks for pointing that out, I had missed that last comment. I too had just looked in the attribute list before seeking any help, but looked for "label' in the list and couldn't find it, which lead me to having to search for the a hint from some...

Re: Search by Color Label

Yeah, I had thought of that and started doing that. Not quite as nice as being able to do it right in LB, since LB doesn't show the contents of a saved search, but hey, maybe that's a feature request. FYI... It wasn't obvious how to do the Spotlight search for a color label. Found this on MacOSXHint...

Search by Color Label

I don't suppose anyone out there has thought of a creative way of searching for items based on their "label color"?

Say I wanted to search for all items that have their file label color set to red? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rich

Re: Sub-searching a folder, has it changed in v5?

Ah, shift-space!
I think I look through the docs pretty thoroughly and couldn't find that. Did I miss it or is it really not there?

Sub-searching a folder, has it changed in v5?

I'm a little confused on the functionality of sub-searching folders in v5. In v4 when I would do a sub-search of a folder, by the following method: 1) cmd-space to activate LB 2) do an abbreviation search to find a folder 3) start a sub-search of that folder by pressing space. 4) The list of items t...

Better Mail App integration

As a follow up to my other post on being able to open an Apple Mail mailbox(*), I'm wondering why, with as much time as we spend doing email, that LB doesn't integrate more closely with Mail? How much time do you spend traversing down into mailboxes, opening, finding, filing, moving emails around? I...

Ah, SEND the folder TO mail. I had tried the rest, but hadn't thought of actually sending the folder itself to Mail. That does answer the original post, however I now have a bigger request, but I will post a new topic on it.

Thanks,
Rich

Opening a Mail mailbox

I've search through the forums and AFAICT this hasn't been discussed, which surprises me, so if there's a thread just point me at it. I would like to be able to quickly open a specific mailbox folder in Mail and cannot seem to find an easy way to do this. Obviously best case would be just start typi...
